What is Brave?

Connect Brave with Uphold Wallet
Once the browser is installed, your first step should be to connect your uphold wallet to Brave (Brave only supports Uphold Wallet), if you do not have one, you can easily create and verify through the Brave Rewards tab present on the homepage. The browser transfers the BAT tokens to Uphold wallet on the 6th of every month (might be different person to person). The browser constantly updates its terms and conditions. For example, when I downloaded Brave, I created, connected, and verified my Uphold wallet with Brave on the very first day. Now, you require a minimum of 25 BAT tokens to verify your uphold wallet. This means you cannot transfer BAT tokens to the wallet unless you have earned 25 tokens. The conditions might change when you are reading the article.
Maximize no. of Ads Shown Per Hour
Under the ads settings, you can select no. of ads shown as per your wish. It ranges from 1 ad per hour to 5 ads per hour. The more the no. of ads displayed, the more BAT tokens you will be rewarded.
Auto Contribute Creators
Brave has a feature of awarding content creators and your favorite sites automatically every month with the BAT tokens that you have earned. You can switch off this feature to maximize your earnings. Whether you turn the auto contribution on or off, it won’t affect the no. of tokens that Brave will award you.
Earn More by Visiting Links on the Wallpaper
Every time you open a new tab, you will find a different wallpaper on the homepage. Sometimes instead of just a wallpaper, you will be shown wallpapers with links to the websites (ads). Brave rewards you for visiting these links also.
Estimated Earnings
Do not expect to earn much with the browser. The earnings tend to change with the BAT prices. If the BAT price is higher, you will be awarded fewer tokens. On the other hand, more tokens are awarded when BAT prices are low.
On average I am earning around 5 dollars worth of BAT tokens every month. You can easily increase your rewards with usage but do not expect extraordinary rewards. Also, you need a minimum of 10 BAT tokens in your Uphold wallet to transfer them to another wallet. Sometimes Uphold charges an exorbitant fee to transfer the Tokens. How do you tackle this? By converting BAT to TRON or XRP, tokens that have a lower fee.
